The final day of the MIX-UP consortium began with a tour of NTU's state-of-the-art labs and exhibition halls. The tour was followed by an interactive softball session with the university's female team, showing the participants' hidden talents.
A highight of the day was a poster session where researchers from both continents presented their innovative work, facilitating valuable discussions over coffee. This session served as a critical platform for direct exchange and engagement among scholars, fostering a deeper understanding and collaboration across borders.
The meeting concluded in the conference room, where the MIX-UP team on site in China and the European partners online continued their discussions from the previous days on project results and implementation strategies. Luckily, the project was extended until June 2024 and we still have a few months left to implement our ideas generated during the meeting into our work.
Great thanks to the exceptional organization by the Chinese coordinator Prof. Min Jiang and his team! The event was a resounding success, reinforcing the importance of international partnerships in research and education.
