Biocatalysis for the Biological Transformation of Polymer Science Conference

The EFB Biocatalysis Division and the EFB Biobased Materials Division invited to Biocatalysis for the Biological Transformation of Polymer Science conference.

From June 27 to 29, the conference was held in Cologne, Germany. The scientific programme provided a recent and comprehensive overview of: discovery and design of microbes and enzymes for polymer synthesis and depolymerization computational understanding of polymer – enzyme interactions, building blocks from renewable resources to biobased polymers and biocatalysis in a circular economy of polymers. The conference brought together experts from academia and industry to a common forum. Scientists were invited to submit abstracts and present their research. Our partners Tanja Narancic, Till Tiso, Yannick Ackermann, Yu Ji, Ulrich Schwanenberg and Nick Wierckx participated as delegates of MIX-UP. Nick and Tanja gave a presentation about the latest research results from MIX-UP.
