The European Alliance for plastics recycling activates public and private actors for the transition from linear to circular value chains.

Plastic is one of the most important materials with ever increasing importance. On the one hand it is used in different production and application areas. On the other hand, adding value to plastics without final recycling strategies represents an environmental problem. The European Alliance for plastics recycling, which was founded in 2008, is an important instrument for measures and investments in the field of sustainable value chains.
