The Expo 2020 has opened its doors in Dubai. Until the end of March 2022, exhibitors from 200 countries will present innovations for a better and more sustainable future. Under the topic „Connecting Minds, Creating the Future” sustainability is one of the main subjects which are represented by the CAMPUS GERMANY. The exhibition in the german pavilion shows 36 exhibits from researchers, companies and start-ups on the topics of energy, the city of the future and biodiversity. We are happy that the EU funded projects P4SB and MIX-UP under the direction of Lars Blank are also represented at the Expo. The project explores the recycling of plastic by enzymes or "plastic-eating" bacteria and how this can be used to develop more sustainable plastic life cycles.
